These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of GurmukhiOCR (“we”, “us”).
By creating an account, signing in, uploading files, purchasing credits, or otherwise using the
service, you agree to these Terms and our
Privacy Policy and
Refund Policy.
The service
GurmukhiOCR provides online OCR (optical character recognition) for documents—especially
Punjabi / Gurmukhi PDFs and images—so you can review, edit, and export text. Free monthly credits
and optional paid one-time credit packs are described on our
pricing page.
Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible
for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or
create risk for the service or other users.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse, harass, disrupt, or attempt to harm the service, our systems, or other users
- Bypass, disable, or circumvent usage limits, quotas, authentication, or access controls
- Use bots, scripts, or automation to abuse the service or extract data beyond normal product use
- Reverse engineer, probe, or attack the service or its infrastructure
- Upload unlawful content or material you do not have the right to process
- Upload malware or attempt to interfere with OCR / storage systems
Your content
You retain ownership of files you upload and text you create. You grant us a limited license to host,
process, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the service (including OCR via Google Cloud Vision).
You represent that you have the rights needed to upload and process the content.
Credits, payments, and refunds
OCR usage consumes credits. Free monthly credits reset on a monthly cycle and are not cash.
Paid credit packs are one-time digital purchases delivered to your account after payment confirmation.
Paid credits do not expire from simple non-use. Pricing and pack sizes are shown at checkout / on
/pricing.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
No professional advice / accuracy
OCR output can contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them for
publication, legal, academic, archival, or commercial purposes. The service is provided
as is and as available.
Suspension
We may suspend or end access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or are putting
the service, other users, or our providers at risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GurmukhiOCR is not liable for indirect,
incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill,
arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for paid purchases is limited to the amount
you paid us for the credits giving rise to the claim in the 12 months
before the claim.
Changes
Features, limits, and these Terms may change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the
“Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
